When I was awarded the scholarship, I was very happy and I promised myself always to make my mom and L.E.A.R.N. proud. All the things I needed were provided, including my provisions to the extent that my friends were even jealous of me, and all fees were taken care of. . In conclusion, my experience has changed my life for the better and has made me see life from a different perspective that hard work pays. I will forever be grateful to L.E.A.R.N.

Being on scholarship under L.E.A.R.N is an amazing experience one would not let go of in a life time. L.E.A.R.N gave me the opportunity to have a sound education under good conditions in St. Gregory’s College. This opportunity came with no demand as I did not have to pay any fee.

I have got a lot of exposure during my stay with L.E.A.R.N. through camp and awareness programmes. With the help of L.E.A.R.N., I have learnt to be self-reliant, to always look on the bright side of life because there is always hope if I don’t give up. I’ve learnt to keep moving forward no matter the ordeal and that God would always reward my effort. Leadership Empowerment and Resource Network is like a dream come true for me.
